Sprinkler Maintenance in VR
Plant fire brigades at Bayer and Henkel train the maintenance sequence of a Hi-Fog sprinkler system in VR – procedure, inspection and fault patterns on the digital twin, without taking the suppression system out of service.
Virtual Reality impressed me with how incredibly realistic it felt. When I first put on the headset, I was standing at the extinguishing system, which looked exactly like the real one outside.
