VR plant training
on the digital twin of your plant

Operators, chemical technicians and maintenance staff train in VR on a model of your actual plant. Procedures can be repeated until they hold – safely, and without interrupting production.

In the headset, you are standing in your plant

Put on the headset and you move through the same space you will later work in. Operate valves, isolate faults, run the control room – on a model of your plant, not in a generic training hall.

Team training at the plant with a headset

Hands-on

Reach, turn, inspect

In the headset the actions stay concrete: close a valve, service a conveyor, see the next step. The sequence is in place before anyone enters the live plant.

One model

Control room and hands-on in one model

Whoever stands at the valve sees the same plant as the control room. VR, XR and AR share one model – only the view changes, not the content.

Headset, tablet and PC as training devices

Complement

The same training on a tablet as well

The training is at its strongest on the VR headset. If none is free, or someone only needs to observe, the same run is available on tablet or PC – as a complement, not a substitute.

Training on your plant

Training on your own plant

Twin

We capture your plant and turn it into an interactive model for the headset. Operators and technicians rehearse procedures before they step onto the shop floor.

A model of your plant

Without touching the live plant

Offsite

Training takes place off-site on the digital twin. Valve sequences, assembly steps and fault cases can be repeated as often as needed – without interrupting production.

Training never touches the live plant

Training and exam mode

Exam

Guided runs that build in difficulty, followed by an exam mode without assistance.

Practise with guidance, then examine

Make consequences visible

Custom

Incorrect actions show their effect in the simulation – safely in the headset, not on the real plant.

Simulation instead of a text warning

From plant capture to offline training

From the plant into the model

We reconstruct your plant as an interactive real-time model – Unreal Engine 5 and OpenXR, standalone on Pico.

Control room and hands-on in one model

Real control rooms are mapped into the virtual space, so trainees can match physical actions such as valve turns with the software readouts.

Structured assessment modules

A guided introduction walks users through the topic, raises the difficulty step by step and assesses the run in an integrated exam mode.

Environment and assets to fit

Interactive multi-user environments for teams, configurable weather and full localisation for international use.

An ecosystem for plant, overview and fire protection

Next Factory VR is VR training on a model of your plant. Alongside it sit two sister products: GodView for the browser overview, and FirefighterVR for plant fire brigades and occupational fire protection. Same origin, distinctly separate products – you choose the tool that matches the training goal.

GodView

A browser twin for overview and walkthrough at the desk. Not VR training, not exam modules – the digital overview of the plant.

Next Factory VR

Bespoke plant training in the headset. Pilot plant, chemical park, maintenance – built on a model of your plant, not taken from a catalogue.

FirefighterVR

Standalone VR training for plant fire brigades and occupational fire protection. Catalogue and kit – not Next Factory’s bespoke plant training.

How your training is built

Analysis and familiarisation
1

Analysis and familiarisation

We immerse ourselves in your technical content, visit the site, inspect the plants and understand the processes – the foundation for the bespoke training.

Concept and consulting
2

Concept and consulting

In the concept phase, visible discussion material appears early. Personal consulting throughout the project protects the outcome and reduces surprises.

Agile development
3

Agile development

Development proceeds in a shared rhythm. Regular status updates give you control and room for feedback.

Testing and refinement
4

Testing and refinement

Software and workflows remain adjustable. Tests with your end users confirm usability before rollout.

Rollout and further development
5

Rollout and further development

Your bespoke VR training goes into service. We support the rollout and continue to develop the application and content if you wish.

What a project costs

Every training is developed for your plant. The three tiers mark the usual range – from a guided walkaround to team training across sites. The exact figure follows from the plant, the depth of interaction and the data you provide.

Entry

Guided SOP walkaround

from €20,000

Step-by-step SOPs and safety walkarounds. Task guidance with highlights and short videos. Basic interaction such as hatches, fasteners and inspection. Progress and completion tracking. A fit for onboarding on one machine or line.

Process

Process and fault simulation

from €50,000

The plant reacts to operation: pressure, temperature, material flow. Non-linear paths, faults and recovery. Deeper mechanics on sub-assemblies. A fit when operators should practise plant behaviour, not only the walkaround.

Team

Team and multiple sites

from €100,000

Several people in the same space at once – instructor and group. Complex scenarios, connection to your systems, rollout across sites. For joint training and longer-term use.

Prices are net and indicative. Typically three months after handover of model data and documents. CAD and photographs reduce the work on the plant model; operating levers, hatches and valves still usually require modelling on our side.

Offline during training

Offline during training

The software runs locally on the headset. Updates and device management via Pico Device Manager; distribution via guest Wi-Fi or hotspot – without joining the internal corporate network during training.

Local on the headset

During active training the software runs locally on the standalone headsets. Training data and plant configurations are not transmitted over the internet.

Without the internal corporate network

The headsets operate independently of the internal corporate network. Updates or new scenarios are distributed via guest Wi-Fi or hotspot.

Central device management

App and OS lifecycle via Pico Device Manager. That eases the load on internal IT; it does not replace their approval process.

What customers say

"
What surprised me was how well you can convey the feeling of doing something. The haptics, the experience of performing that action – it really is almost like real life.
Alexander Breiner, BU Manager, Actemium Mechatronic

"
VR trainings are cost-efficient, effective and safe. We use VR trainings for technical courses for field service and for first-level support in the service centre.

"
Virtual Reality impressed me with how incredibly realistic it felt. When I first put on the headset, I was standing at the extinguishing system, which looked exactly like the real one outside.
